Traditional patterns from Japanese and Dutch folk art were the start of Jaeggi x Bilyam’s ‘fly, swim & bloom’ designs. They combine designs from textiles and ceramics with birds, fish and flowers to create a new representation. They experiment and play with these painted elements to create new unexpected images. ‘Fly, Swim & Bloom’ was developed for tile tableaux. Jaeggi x Bilyam is a collaboration between Gina Bilyam and Gea Jaeggi.Gina Bilyam is a ceramist. Gea Jaeggi paints.

Traditionele patronen uit de Japanse en Nederlandse volkskunst zijn het begin van de ‘vlieg, zwem & bloei’ ontwerpen van Jaeggi x Bilyam. Dessins uit textiel en keramiek combineren zij met deze lijn tot een tweede voorstelling van vogels, vissen en bloemen.
